Riikka and Figo (EW Crime Suspect) were competing in class 1 in an obedience trial last weekend. They received a first prize result of 186,5/200 points and won the class of 13 dogs. They also won the team district championship.

The most respected Finnish agility event took place on July 20th – 21st in Seinäjoki. 121 large dogs and their handlers were entered to the qualification competition along with 95 medium and 116 dogs. To qualify to this event you need to have run at least seven clean runs (at least one double-0 among them) in class 3 during the last year and won at least one competition.
On Saturday the competition started with two courses. The results of the Saturday courses determined which dogs got to continue on to compete also on Sunday.
The first course was a jumping course. Misa & Tuumis Pumpula (EW Expect the Unxpected) ran clean and were placed 11th, Marko & Hertz (EW Soulmate) were 13th. Next course was an agility course. Pasi & Wiu (EW White-Hot) ran a beautiful run and were placed 4th. Jenni & Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) were 7th, Marko & Hertz (EW Soulmate) 13th. All these teams qualified for Sunday as did Pasi & Figo (EW Crime Suspect) and Marko & Split (EW Sunborn).
On Sunday’s first agility course Misa & Tuumis ran a very fast clean run being placed 4th in class. Jenni & Loox were 9th. Pasi & Wiu were 5th on the jumping course of the day.
The placements in the total results were as follows:

Misa & Tuumis 14th
Jenni & Loox 16th
Marko & Hertz 21st

The Finnish Championship event took place in Kirkkonummi last weekend. On Friday Anna-Maija and Stara (EW Celebrity) ran a double-0. Anna-Maija ran clean also with Soihtu (EW Wildfire) on the agility course as did Reetta and Höyry (EW Ewe-No-Me).
A total of 10 Eyewitness bred dogs and two of our imports had qualified to the individual championship competition. Anna-Maija & Soihtu and Pasi & Figo (EW Crime Suspect) ran clean on the jumping course and got to run in the finals. Both these teams ran clean also on the agility course. Anna-Maija & Soihtu were placed 8th in the total results, Pasi & Figo were 9th. Huge achievement in a competition of 221 large dogs. Super congratulations to Anna-Maija and Pasi!

We were competing in Janakkala last weekend. We had a small family meeting there with so many Eyewitness bred dogs in the same place. Siisti (EW Tru Luxury) and Wiu (EW White-Hot) were competing and in addition we got to meet Stidi (EW Stargazer), Figo (EW Crime Suspect) and puppies Kofi (EW Game On) and Manya (EW Gimme All Your Lovin’). Nice to have met you all!
Marko and Hertz (EW Soulmate) ran clean on an agility course. They were placed 2nd in a class of 54 dogs. Esa and Siisti ran clean on the jumping course being placed 3rd in class. Jenni & Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) ran a double-0.

Anna-Maija and Soihtu (EW Wildfire) were competing today in Lieto. They ran clean on two class 1 agility courses and were placed 3rd and 2nd in class. With these results Soihtu and Anna-Maija get to start competing in class 2 from now on.
Pasi and Figo (EW Crime Suspect) were competing in Vantaa. They ran clean on two class 3 courses in a row which means a “double-0”. Pasi and Figo are now qualified to compete in the Finnish Championships and the national team tryout competition in summer 2013.

We were competing in Kokkola class 3 competition last weekend. Marko ran clean on two agility courses of the day with both Hertz (EW Soulmate) and Split (EW Sunborn), double-0 for both boys. Hertz won one of the courses, Split was placed 3rd. On the last course of the day the placements were 3rd for Hertz and 4th for Split. Loox (Jakovall Oh You Pretty Thing) and I were placed 5th on the same course also with a clean run. With Hertz receiving his double-0 he is now qualified to compete in the Finnish Championships and national team tryout competition next summer as are Split and Loox.
Pasi and Figo (EW Crime Suspect) were competing in Hyvinkää. They ran clean on an agility course and were placed 2nd in class. Sister Stara (EW Celebrity) was competing in Lieto with Anna-Maija. Their clean run on an agility course resulted in a 5th place in class.

Pasi and Figo (EW Crime Suspect) were competing today in Kotka. They ran clean on a class 3 jumping course and were placed 2nd in a class of 33 dogs. Figo received his second jumping certificate. Well done again, boys :)

Figo (EW Crime Suspect) passed a behaviour test today with his handler Riikka. This means that Figo now has a new title BH.

We competed yesterday in a class 3 agility competition in Maalahti. Marko & Split (EW Sunborn) won both two courses of the day with a clean run. TiuTau (EW Eavesdropper) & I also ran clean on the second course of the day. We were placed 2nd and TiuTau received her second agility CC.
Pasi & Figo (EW Crime Suspect) were competing in Mikkeli. They ran clean on an agility course and were placed 2nd in class. Congrats boys!
